Life Insurance Consulting in Red Bank
We start with the numbers your family would need: income to replace, debts to clear and goals to fund. Then we match a policy type, term length and riders to that figure, and put the premiums, fees and our compensation in writing before you sign anything.

Coverage Built From a Needs Analysis, Not a Sales Target
Life insurance does one job: it puts cash in the right hands at the right time. The hard part is sizing it. Too little leaves a mortgage or tuition unfunded. Too much, or the wrong policy type, ties up money that could be working in your portfolio or your retirement accounts.
We are Series 7 and SIE licensed and licensed to sell life insurance, so we can look at coverage alongside your investments instead of in isolation. That matters because the choice between term and permanent coverage is really a question about cash flow, taxes and how long the need lasts.
Before you apply for anything, you get a written summary of what we recommend, why, what each option costs per year and how we are paid if you buy through us. No add-on riders appear later that you did not see on that page.

What Our Life Insurance Consulting Covers
- 01
Needs analysis
We total the obligations a death benefit should cover: years of income replacement, mortgage balance, other debts, college costs and final expenses. Existing savings and coverage are subtracted, so the gap is a number you can check yourself.
- 02
Term versus permanent comparison
Term coverage is inexpensive per dollar of benefit but ends after 10, 20 or 30 years. Whole life and universal life cost more because they build cash value and can last a lifetime. We lay out both side by side for your situation.
- 03
Review of policies you already own
We read the in-force illustration, not just the declarations page. For universal life policies bought when credited rates were higher, we check whether the current premium still keeps the policy from lapsing.
- 04
Rider and beneficiary check
We look at waiver of premium, accelerated death benefit and term conversion options, and confirm that primary and contingent beneficiaries match your current wishes and your will.
- 05
Coordination with your wider plan
Large policies can affect estate taxes depending on who owns them. When ownership structure or a trust matters, we tie the work to our legacy planning and tax management services.

Call(732) 696-7479Signs It Is Time to Look at Your Coverage
Your only coverage comes from work
Group life is often capped at one or two times salary and usually ends or must be converted at a higher cost when you leave the job.
A new child, mortgage or business loan
Each one adds years of obligations. Coverage bought before those changes was sized for a smaller set of needs.
A level term period is ending
When the level period runs out, premiums on many term policies rise sharply each year. Conversion rights often expire before that, so timing matters.
Beneficiaries are out of date
A beneficiary designation overrides your will. An ex-spouse or a minor child named directly can create problems your family has to sort out later.
A business partner depends on you
Buy-sell agreements need funding. Without a policy behind them, the surviving owners may not have the cash to buy out your family's share.
How the Work Moves From First Call to Policy in Force
- 1
Introductory meeting
Sit down with us in person, or connect by video or phone if that is easier. Bring any existing policies and a rough picture of income, debts and goals, and we will walk through how we work and how we are paid.
- 2
Written recommendation
We send a written summary with the coverage amount, policy types compared, estimated premiums and any riders, each with its reason. You decide whether to go forward.
- 3
Application and underwriting
If you apply, the carrier reviews medical records, prescription history and often a short paramedical exam. Underwriting usually takes several weeks, and we keep you posted on any requests from the carrier.
- 4
Delivery and annual review
When the policy is approved, we go through the final contract with you, compare it to the written estimate and confirm beneficiaries. We revisit coverage as your family and finances change.
What Moves the Cost of Coverage
Premiums are set by the insurance carrier, not by us. They depend mostly on the age and health of the person the policy covers and the kind of policy chosen. We show you each carrier's figures in writing so you can see what drives the difference, and our own compensation is stated in the same document.
- Age and health class
- Carriers place you in a rating class based on age, health history, build and tobacco use. A better class can lower premiums noticeably on the same death benefit.
- Policy type
- Permanent coverage costs several times more than term for the same benefit because part of each premium builds cash value.
- Coverage amount and term length
- A larger benefit or a longer level period raises the premium. Laddering two smaller term policies can sometimes match a need that shrinks over time at a lower total cost.
- Riders
- Waiver of premium, child term riders and long-term care riders each add a charge. We list them separately so you can keep only the ones that solve a real problem.
Answers About Life Insurance Coverage
What size death benefit does my family need?
The figure comes from your own numbers rather than a multiple of salary. We total income replacement, debts and future costs like tuition, then subtract savings and any coverage already in place. The full calculation is in writing, so you can trace every step.
Is term or permanent life insurance better?
Neither wins in general. Term fits needs with an end date, such as raising children or paying off a mortgage. Permanent coverage fits needs that last, such as estate liquidity or a lifelong dependent.
Should I replace a policy I already have?
Not automatically. A new policy restarts the contestability period, usually two years, and dropping the old one may trigger surrender charges. We compare both contracts in writing, and sometimes the right call is to keep what you own.
How are you paid if I buy a policy through you?
Insurance carriers pay us compensation on policies placed through our firm. On any policy we recommend, we explain how that compensation works in writing before you apply, so it never shows up as a surprise.
Do I have to come to the office?
No. We can meet at our office or by phone and video, which suits clients in Fair Haven, Middletown, Holmdel and other nearby towns.
