About Our Financial Advisory Practice in Red Bank
We help individuals, couples, families, business owners and retirees grow, protect and pass on their wealth. Before we start, you get a written summary of what we will do, what we will not do, and how we are paid, so you can decide with the full picture.

Why We Put the Terms on Paper First
Most people who sit down with an advisor carry one quiet worry: what is this actually going to cost, and what am I agreeing to. Fee schedules, fund expense ratios and insurance commissions can stack up in ways that are hard to see on a statement. We would rather show you those layers at the start than explain them after the fact.
So our process begins with an introductory meeting. We ask about your goals, the accounts you hold, such as 401(k)s, IRAs, brokerage and business accounts, and any deadlines you face, like a retirement date or a required minimum distribution. Then we write up the scope: which services apply, what information we still need, and the factors that set the fee, including the number and type of accounts, whether you want a one-time financial plan or ongoing portfolio management, and whether insurance products are part of the discussion.
Nothing gets added later without a new conversation and a revised written outline. If your situation changes, say a business sale, an inheritance or a new grandchild, we update the scope with you before any extra work begins.
How We Work With Every Client
Scope defined before work starts
You see in writing which services we will provide, from retirement planning to tax management, and which fall outside the engagement. That keeps expectations clear on both sides.
Compensation explained line by line
If a recommendation involves an advisory fee, a fund's internal expenses or a commission on a life insurance policy, we name it and explain how it is calculated. You should know how your advisor is paid on every product.
Reasons behind each recommendation
We explain why, not just what. If we suggest moving from a high-cost fund, rebalancing after drift, or reviewing a beneficiary designation, we show the numbers and the tradeoffs, including the tax cost of selling appreciated positions.
Plans built around long-term goals
Wealth management, investment management and legacy planning all start from the same question: what do you want the money to do for you and your family. Portfolio choices follow from that answer, not the other way around.
Meeting at Our Office, by Phone or by Video
We work with clients in Red Bank and nearby towns including Fair Haven, Little Silver, Shrewsbury, Middletown, Holmdel, Tinton Falls, Long Branch, Eatontown, West Long Branch and Fairview. You can meet with us at our office or, if your schedule is tight or family members live elsewhere, we can review documents together by phone or video. Couples often find video useful when one spouse travels for work, since both can see the same statements and the same written scope at once.

Start With a Conversation
An introductory meeting is the first step. Bring recent statements if you have them, and we will talk through your goals and how a written scope would look for you.
